She answered every question and text I sent promptly. She was very attentive to our needs and accommodating as best she could. Unfortunately due to external circumstances we didn’t proceed with this venue, but we really wish we could have! Occasions will have a special place in our heart and I encourage all future brides to tour it in person. Many are concerned about privacy, but the minute you step down to the venue itself, it really feels like a separate world. The venue is intimate and you can get by with minimal decor due to the breathtaking backdrop of the ocean. From our tour with Cori, we instantly knew we made the right choice going with Occasions for our dream wedding. Then there is Andrew & his incredible team with The Cliff, who’s care, service and attention to detail leave you feeling like royalty. We are huge foodies and Andrew made sure that our love of food was featured and translated from cocktail hour to the main course of the best damn taco bar you could ever imagine! He helped us design the perfect cocktails - and mocktails - to have our guests raving and all of us well hydrated. Included with your booking is the best DJ you could want - DJ Todd - he worked with us in curating a perfect evening of entertainment and worked seamlessly with our wedding band - The Brightsiders - to make our event feel like the epic party we always wanted. Finally, there is Dayna, the on-site coordinator who would do anything for her couples. We even had wedding crashers try and join our event (we don’t blame them it was one helluva party) and Dayna took care of it without skipping a beat or calling any attention to it. She was a pleasure to work with and made sure that the second you wake up on your wedding day - you do not have a thing to worry about at the venue. From the very first walkthrough to the final dance, every single person involved in our wedding, from the owners Sharon and Kathy, to their wonderful son, our planner Dayna, our florist Jean, the incredible photographer Jared Sislin and his team, and restaurant and bar manager Andrew, made our day the absolute best day of my wife Hayleigh and I’s lives. Sharon and Kathy have cultivated something special here—not just a gorgeous venue, but a place filled with heart. Dayna was a total rockstar: organized, calming, detail-oriented, and always ten steps ahead. Jean’s floral arrangements were breathtaking—elegant, unique, and bursting with our personality. Jared and his team… where do I even begin? Their work made us relive every emotion through stunning photos. Besides the gorgeous view - the people that work at Occasions truly made our dream wedding a reality. Cori showed us around the venue and was very knowledgeable when we asked questions. Dayna, the venue coordinator, is absolutely amazing and helps you not only just on the day of but also through every step of the planning process from the time of booking! The included vendors were also fantastic - Andrew with The Cliff, Shealyn with Fantasy Floral Designs, Rossmoor Pastries, Todd our DJ from Epic1 Entertainment were all so kind and, alongside some amazing outside vendors, helped make the day memorable!! From the very beginning, every person we worked with and all their associated vendors were very kind, helpful, responsive and professional. Dayna was our wedding producer and was the biggest help from the day we signed the paper. She made sure we checked all the boxes, even things outside of the venues direct responsibly, just to make it as easy on us as possible. We had multiple check ins and she was always open to answer questions via text or phone when we had them. She gave us tons of photo recommendation, took pictures throughout our rehearsal and wedding, and made sure we all were where we needed to be. Andrew with the Cliff restaurant was easy to communicate with and was very nice when we came in for our tasting. We tried a large variety of foods that were hard to pick from because they were all so good! We had great reviews of the food after the wedding and they were great about minding all allergens and dietary restrictions. The crab cakes, goat cheese crostinis and chicken curry skewers were all amazing hors d'oeuvres. The veggies and salad fresh and flavorful and of course our chicken and salmon were really really delicious. They take care of all set up of table, chairs, decorations, ceremony, reception, cocktail hour and everything in between. They gave us tons of freedom to do our wedding the way we wanted and it felt so seamless, I never had to stop and make a decision or handle any problems the whole night. Where to start! We got married at Occasions on November 4, 2023. Even before we put the deposit down, we were met with professionalism and confidence putting me and my now husband at ease. Dayna is excellent at her job and made the planning process very smooth and easy. Going into the wedding weekend, I felt calm and relaxed knowing that the day would go off without a hitch and I was right! Her team did an amazing job coordinating between all the vendors so I just had to show up and get married. The catering manager Andrew was so easy to work with when figuring out the signature drinks for the bar, as well as helping us make sure the food matching the vibe we wanted for our wedding. DJ Todd from Epic 1 entertainment kept the party going with our dancefloor being packed all night, as well as some fun extras. I would highly recommend Occasions for any of your wedding or event needs.
